Started off green and moody. Ripes into straw-yellow, mellow, and kind of majestic.
Big, pulpy, and wildly juicy — with a twist of lemon and a whisper of coconut. Basically, if a mango went on a tropical holiday and came back enlightened.
Favoured by royalty. Named for an Imam. Grown in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, and very much above average.
